Put the routine on the fridge, where nobody has to unlock anything
A daily task list and a rewards catalogue you can print at home. The routine stays visible all day to a child who doesn’t have a phone, and you stop being the one who reads it out. Printing is a Premium feature.
What comes out of it
Two sheets, both generated from what you’ve already set up in the app, as a PDF you can print at home or send to a printer from your phone.
- The daily task list: the routine your child follows, in order.
- The rewards catalogue: what they’re saving towards and what each one takes.
Nothing is re-typed. Change a task in the app and the next sheet you print reflects it.
Why paper, when there’s an app
Family Buddy is the parent’s app. Your child never needs a device or an account. That’s deliberate, and it leaves one gap: the routine lives on your phone, which is in your pocket.
A sheet on the fridge closes it. The list is in the room, at child height, all day, and checking it doesn’t involve asking you or holding a screen.
Best for
families who want the routine visible in the kitchen rather than on a phone, and children too young for a device.
Not for
anyone looking for a free printable chart to fill in by hand. This prints your set-up from the app, and it needs Premium.
Questions about printing
What exactly can I print?
Two things: the daily task list, and the rewards catalogue. Both come out as a PDF you can print at home or send to a printer from your phone. They’re the routine and the rewards you’ve already set up. Nothing is re-entered.
Do I need Premium to print?
Yes. Printing is a Premium feature. The free version does everything on screen; the printed sheets are part of the paid plan.
Can my child use the printed list without a phone?
That’s the point of it. Family Buddy is the parent’s app and your child never needs a device or an account. A sheet on the fridge means the routine is visible all day to someone who isn’t holding a screen, and it doesn’t need you to read it out.
Can I print the schedule or events?
No. Printing covers the daily task list and the rewards catalogue only. Events and the week view stay in the app.
You’ll land on “Family Star”. That’s us. We’ve renamed to Family Buddy, and the App Store listing is still catching up.
Printing the daily task list and rewards catalogue is a Premium feature.
